Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote across the United States or from the New York City office; the role includes time embedded with clients.

What you will do

• Embed with client operations to understand how estimators, project managers, and finance teams work.
• Turn advisory findings into shipped automations across existing client systems.
• Integrate project management, accounting, email, document storage, and other third-party tools through APIs.
• Own delivery end to end, including adoption by the client’s team.
• Feed field learnings back into the platform to improve future deployments.

Requirements

• Strong engineering fundamentals and judgment to ship dependable systems.
• Comfort working across the stack and with unfamiliar third-party systems and APIs.
• Experience building LLM-backed or workflow automation systems, or the ability to learn them quickly.
• Ability to work with non-technical operators, earn trust, and identify real requirements.
• Comfort owning delivery in a client-facing role.

Nice to have

• Exposure to construction, finance, or operations-heavy businesses.
• Experience with n8n or similar workflow tools.
• Consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
