Equipment Control & Software - Intern (IoT)

Location: Onsite at the Woodlands site in Singapore, W1. Travel is not required.

What you will do

• Develop control software for precision, high-throughput automated equipment and devices.
• Support electrical design for automated machines, including schematic drawings and bills of materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design system architectures, and implement software solutions.
• Apply software development best practices through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Improve existing equipment software and contribute to smart autonomous manufacturing initiatives.
• Track industry trends and emerging technologies related to automation software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Interest in the practical application of electrical and electronic devices and programming.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with good organizational and time-management skills.
