What you will do

• Develop software, models, and simulations for defensive systems in collaboration with engineering and software development teams.
• Lead software development teams and simulation framework activities.
• Design and develop interfaces and APIs to enable interoperability between simulations.
• Optimize software for runtime performance and analyze simulation results.
• Build and maintain containerized deployments using Kubernetes.
• Apply Git-based configuration management, CI/CD, DevSecOps, Agile processes, and software testing.

Requirements

• Computer science degree from an accredited university.
• 6–8 years of professional experience.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Programming experience in Python and C/C++.
• Experience with Git, GitLab, DevOps or similar tools, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing software in Linux and Windows environments, with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with missile defense systems.
• Experience developing physics-based models and simulations.
