TL;DR

Location: Littleton, Colorado, United States; based at the Littleton site

Base salary: $115,000–$165,000 USD annually, plus potential stock and cash incentives.

What you will do

  • Architect and deploy distributed simulation environments for complex aerospace systems, including multi-vehicle and constellation-level models.
  • Build data pipelines to process, analyze, and visualize large datasets generated by high-fidelity simulations.
  • Apply statistical analysis and data modeling to derive engineering and mission-level insights.
  • Optimize simulation infrastructure for high-performance computing and distributed clusters.
  • Translate mission objectives into scalable simulation architectures with cross-functional domain experts.
  • Integrate complex simulation ecosystems and synchronize multiple subsystems and analytical tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience for Senior Software Engineer I or 8+ years for Senior Software Engineer II.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar languages used for simulation infrastructure and data analysis.
  • Experience architecting and analyzing large-scale Monte Carlo campaigns.
  • Experience processing large datasets with modern data analytics libraries or frameworks.
  • U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements; U.S. export regulations also require appropriate authorization to access regulated technology.

Nice to have

  • Active Secret or Top Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • Experience with HPC, parallel processing, distributed clusters, Docker Swarm, or Kubernetes.
  • Experience with synchronized multi-vehicle simulations, optimization algorithms, cloud simulation platforms, data lakes, or AI-driven analysis.
