Senior Scientist in AI & Big Data Center (Bioinformatics/AI): Developing web-based and standalone tools, algorithms, and data analyses for synthetic biology, protein engineering, and antibody engineering with an accent on deep learning and molecular biology. Focus on building algorithmic solutions for technical barriers, mining synthesis-related data, and developing bioinformatics models and pipelines.
Location: Remote in Malaysia or onsite in Nanjing, China

What you will do
- Lead bioinformatics projects involving synthetic biology, protein engineering, and antibody engineering.
- Develop web-based and standalone scientific tools.
- Develop algorithms that help customers overcome technical barriers.
- Mine and analyze synthesis-related data, including through deep learning.
Requirements
- PhD in bioinformatics or deep learning.
- At least three years of experience in algorithm or model development.
- Knowledge of molecular biology or protein science.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong communication, teamwork, responsibility, and self-motivation.
Nice to have
- Experience with natural language processing, large language models, pretrained language models, or generative AI.
- Experience with algorithm, software, or pipeline development.
