Program Manager (Defense Technology)

Location: On-site in Dallas, Texas or Washington, DC, United States; domestic and international travel may be required.

Salary: $110,000–$160,000 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular full-time employees.

What you will do

• Lead execution and operational maturity for company-owned, company-operated unmanned aircraft system deployments supporting contracted ISR missions.
• Coordinate flight operations, logistics, sustainment, subcontractors, finance, leadership, and customer stakeholders.
• Manage customer relationships and serve as the primary program point of contact.
• Track budgets, resources, schedules, risks, and standard program-management metrics.
• Perform critical-path analysis, identify bottlenecks, and drive corrective actions to keep programs on schedule.
• Establish effective meeting cadences and promote accountability and execution excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of program management experience supporting Department of Defense programs.
• Ability to independently manage advanced programs consisting of multiple interrelated projects.
• Experience with scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
• Strong leadership, organization, time management, communication, and team-management skills.
• Expert understanding of complex project financials.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance; offers are contingent on a cleared background.

Nice to have

• Experience with unmanned aerial systems, aviation operations, ISR, or defense technology programs.
• Familiarity with aircraft sustainment, maintenance operations, or fleet management.
• Experience managing subcontractors, external service providers, or distributed operational teams.
• Experience building scalable processes in startup or high-growth organizations.
• Active Secret Security Clearance, PMP certification, or a degree in engineering, business, or operations management.
