Communications Specialist (Sports)

RB Omiya Ardija is a professional football club founded in 1999 and based in Saitama, operating men's and women's teams, a youth academy, and football schools.

What you will do

• Develop and implement communication and PR plans that strengthen the club and RB Omiya brand image.
• Create content for owned media, social media, the website, and matchday programs.
• Manage social media publishing, video and article production, community engagement, and channel monitoring.
• Build relationships with influencers, brands, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee photo shoots, productions, event series, and other Communications and PR projects, including support for international hirify.global Soccer colleagues.
• Evaluate project performance, optimize resources, and prepare reports and documentation.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in Communications and PR, with content creation experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Creativity, trend awareness, reliability, self-motivation, teamwork, empathy, and a hands-on approach.
• Completed university degree or professional qualification, preferably in Sports Management, Communications, or Marketing.
• Fluent Japanese and business-level English, written and spoken.
• Based in or able to work in Saitama, Japan.

Nice to have

• Experience with Communications and PR activations in the sports industry.
• Experience working within the World of hirify.global.
