What you will do

• Manage bilingual external communications content, including press releases, statements, key messages, and narrative frameworks.
• Coordinate media requests, written responses, press packs, interviews, media familiarisation trips, and communications for route launches and other events.
• Lead communications for corporate, social, community, Emiratisation, CSR, and ESG priorities in coordination with government and community stakeholders.
• Build executive spokesperson profiles through interviews, opinion pieces, speaking opportunities, speeches, talking points, scripts, and briefing packs.
• Brief, manage, and evaluate PR agencies and suppliers across multiple markets.
• Monitor media coverage, sentiment, share of voice, emerging issues, and reputational risks, preparing reporting and reactive communications.

Requirements

• Degree-level education or a professional qualification in journalism, communications, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in communications, press office, PR agency, or journalism roles.
• Bilingual Arabic and English, with the ability to write and proofread quickly and to a high standard.
• Established UAE and regional media relationships, or the ability to build them quickly.
• Experience producing digital and multi-channel content, managing external agencies, and interpreting media monitoring data.
• Strong planning, project management, presentation, administrative, and stakeholder-management skills, with flexibility to work unsociable hours at short notice.

Nice to have

• Aviation or aerospace experience.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi government and community stakeholders and the emirate’s strategic priorities.
