Managing Consultant, TradeDesk (Trade Compliance)

Location: Portland, Oregon, USA; full-time onsite role.

What you will do

• Lead daily TradeDesk operations for dedicated key accounts and an HTS Classification vertical.
• Manage a team of 15–20 operational employees handling HTS classification, shipment management, document generation, and PGA requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely classification and shipment documentation while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Develop process improvements to increase operational efficiency and service quality.
• Manage customer escalations and collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs, coach team members, and manage performance and development.

Requirements

• Experience in HTS classification, trade compliance, customs operations, or international logistics.
• Experience managing operational teams in a consulting or logistics environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and team management skills.
• Knowledge of PGA regulatory frameworks and documentation standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
