What you will do
- Own and sustain backend drive assembly processes by monitoring yield, SPC trends, scrap, downtime, cycle time, and key process indicators.
- Investigate process excursions and quality issues through structured root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with Production, Equipment Engineering, Automation, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve process and equipment capability.
- Support new product introduction builds, engineering trials, process transfers, tool conversions, and qualification activities.
- Analyze manufacturing data, prepare engineering reports and technical presentations, and maintain process documentation, work instructions, PFMEA, control plans, and change records.
- Drive improvement projects focused on yield, scrap, cycle time, cost, digitization, standardization, and machine qualification.
Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5β8 years of relevant experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, production support, or industrial operations.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing, SPC, DOE, root cause analysis, process optimization, and qualification activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools such as Power BI, Minitab, JMP, Tableau, Python, SQL, or equivalent applications.
- Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, cost, and continuous improvement.
