Engineering Specialist (Sputter Maintenance)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore. Onsite cleanroom work with a 12-hour shift pattern; no travel required.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and product conversions on sputtering tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues and resolve chronic machine problems.
• Collaborate with equipment and process engineering teams to improve tool reliability and reduce product defects.
• Initiate projects focused on OEE, productivity, safety hazards, and cost reduction.
• Use data analytics and machine learning applications for equipment troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Develop expertise in vacuum technology through training and ongoing learning.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent Diploma/ITE qualification.
• Knowledge or experience in mechanical systems or electronics.
• Data analysis and MS Office skills.
• Self-motivated, positive, collaborative, and able to solve problems effectively.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment and on a 12-hour shift pattern.

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Cleanroom experience.
