Commodity Management Intern (Consumer Electronics)

Location: Onsite at Woodlands, Singapore, W3. Travel: None.

hirify.global operates a large electronics manufacturing site in Woodlands, Singapore, supporting recording media operations across three sites.

What you will do

• Track global price trends and lead times for electronic components such as MLCCs, memory, and chipsets.
• Maintain should-cost models and monitor Purchase Price Variance to support product margins.
• Prepare supplier performance data for quarterly business reviews, covering quality, delivery, and cost.
• Monitor end-of-life notifications and support inventory planning for production and future repairs.
• Clean and manage component and inventory data in SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
• Support responsible sourcing, environmental standards, and ethical mineral sourcing initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs.
• Interest in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Basic understanding of electronic components and consumer hardware.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and translate complex data into clear presentations for senior management.
• Experience or exposure to high-volume global procurement, international supplier negotiations, and the consumer hardware lifecycle.
