Assistant Vice President, Corporate Development Integration & Value Creation (Healthcare)

Location: Washington, DC. Preferred locations include Louisville, KY, New York, and Nashville, TN.

Salary: $223,800–$313,100 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end integration planning and execution for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and enterprise initiatives.
• Develop integration frameworks, governance structures, operating models, Day 1 readiness plans, stabilization milestones, and long-term roadmaps.
• Define value creation opportunities, business cases, synergy targets, and benefit realization plans with Finance and business leaders.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Finance, HR, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal, and business segments.
• Advise executive leadership, facilitate steering committees, and present risks, recommendations, and performance outcomes.
• Establish KPI dashboards, drive change adoption and cultural integration, and build organizational capability in integration and value realization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Operations, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in strategy execution, transformation, integration, consulting, operations, or corporate development.
• Experience leading complex enterprise-wide initiatives and large-scale transformational programs.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams in highly matrixed organizations.
• Strong financial acumen, including business cases, synergy models, and value realization plans.
• Ability to influence senior executives, align stakeholders, and deliver exceptional executive presentations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree such as an MBA or MHA.
• Experience in healthcare payer, healthcare services, or healthcare technology organizations.
• Experience leading M&A integrations and post-transaction value capture initiatives.
• Background in management consulting, enterprise transformation, corporate strategy, or operations leadership.
• Certification in program management, change management, Lean, Six Sigma, or a related discipline.
