TL;DR
Product Lead, Clinical Optimization (Healthcare): Building clinical optimization capabilities for a virtual care platform across scheduling, provider availability, workforce optimization, and EMR-enabled workflows with an accent on scalable operations, interoperability, and measurable clinical impact. Focus on designing API-based integrations, applying AI and automation to care delivery, and solving complex cross-functional workflow challenges across clinical and operational systems.

Location: USA - Any Location (Remote)

Base salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year, plus performance bonus and benefits.

What you will do

  • Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for clinical optimization across scheduling, provider availability, workforce management, and EMR-enabled workflows.
  • Lead 0-to-1 discovery and execution for capabilities that scale across clinical specialties and provider types.
  • Define, instrument, and improve metrics covering engagement, efficiency, clinical throughput, and operational performance.
  • Translate complex clinical and operational workflows into product requirements, success metrics, and platform capabilities.
  • Drive integrations across EMR/EHR and non-EMR platforms using FHIR, HL7, SMART APIs, data exchange, and workflow handoffs.
  • Apply AI and automation to reduce manual work, improve decision-making, and simplify care delivery.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product management experience in healthcare, digital health, enterprise SaaS, or regulated environments.
  • Experience building or scaling products across complex workflows such as scheduling, provider operations, care delivery, workforce optimization, or capacity management.
  • Fluency with API-based integrations, platform interoperability, cross-system workflows, and technical tradeoff discussions.
  • Success leading cross-functional initiatives with engineering, clinical, operational, data, design, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong data skills, including defining metrics, working with complex datasets, and communicating findings credibly.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

  • Experience with EMR/EHR platforms such as Athena or Epic and with clinical operations teams.
  • Experience with FHIR/HL7, SMART on FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards.
  • Experience taking 0-to-1 products from ambiguous problem spaces through launch, adoption, and measurable impact.
  • Deep empathy for care team workflows and comfort operating with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
