Senior Product Manager, Clinical Platform (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Menlo Park, California; office attendance required Monday through Thursday, with Fridays designated as work-from-anywhere days.

Salary: $160,000–$205,000 annual base salary in the San Francisco Bay Area, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the clinical platform’s validated patient record, patient identity, service catalog, composition grammar, and authoring surface.
• Define how configurable care services are composed across licensure, modality, clinical supply, and service requirements.
• Build a trustworthy patient record through schema design, validation rules, and integrations using healthcare standards such as FHIR and LOINC.
• Enable clinical strategy, partnerships, and AI agents to create care pathways and partner configurations without engineering tickets.
• Own the extended networks platform and partner integration platform for external clinical providers.
• Publish and version internal and external contracts, managing migrations and deprecations while coordinating with engineering, clinical, partnership, AI research, and health plan stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience.
• Experience owning at least two platform, infrastructure, or API products used by other engineering teams.
• Experience abstracting hard-coded behavior into data-driven, configurable systems.
• Experience designing core entities and lifecycles, shipping versioned interfaces, and managing deprecations.
• Experience building platforms where configuration errors had real, auditable consequences in high-stakes domains such as payments, safety, compliance, access control, identity, logistics, or marketplaces.
• Ability to set a multi-year vision, prioritize across teams, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Startup experience, especially in a rapidly growing company.
• Experience shipping a rules engine, policy editor, or pathway builder used by non-engineers in production.
