Senior User Experience Designer (Fintech)

Location: On-site in Westlake, TX; Austin, TX; or Chicago, IL, United States

Salary: USD $105,600–$172,500 per year, plus potential bonus or incentive opportunities

What you will do

• Improve digital experiences through interaction design, experience standards, and product execution.
• Translate client and business needs into scalable product experiences, interaction models, visual frameworks, and reusable patterns.
• Create future-state concepts and strategic design visions for the digital ecosystem.
• Design experiences across desktop, mobile web, and native mobile platforms.
• Explore AI-enabled experiences, conversational interfaces, and emerging interaction models while maintaining accessibility, trust, quality, and consistency.
• Lead work from problem definition through implementation and facilitate design reviews, workshops, and cross-functional alignment.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of UX design experience focused on digital products, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of UX experience designing touch-based mobile interfaces.
• Experience with research, user flows, wireframes, prototyping, testing, and iteration.
• Experience working with design systems, product patterns, web platforms, and native mobile platforms.
• Strong visual and interaction design skills, including layout, typography, hierarchy, color, and motion.
• Proficiency with Figma or comparable product design tools and the ability to influence stakeholders through communication, storytelling, prototypes, and design rationale.

Nice to have

• Experience with iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design.
• Experience using AI-powered tools or workflows for design, research, prototyping, or problem-solving.
• Experience collaborating closely with engineers and understanding the implementation impact of design decisions.
