Process Engineering Intern (Manufacturing)

Location: Teparuk, Thailand; onsite at the Seagate manufacturing facility

hirify.global's Teparuk site produces nano-recording heads, critical components of hard disk drive read/write functionality.

What you will do

• Evaluate manufacturing processes from a reliability standpoint.
• Develop acceleration techniques and analytical tools to identify process and product reliability problems early.
• Recommend changes to the selection and application of components and systems.
• Collaborate with customer qualification, sustaining, HDD design, and manufacturing teams.
• Support additional tasks that contribute to team, department, and company goals.

Requirements

• Fluent English and the ability to clearly express ideas and processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independent judgment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing engineering, mechanical or mechatronics engineering, and production management.
• Knowledge of a programming language and technical terminology.
• Expertise in interactive graphics, data visualization, data mining, and data analysis.
• Understanding of color theory and human visual perception.
