Test Development Intern (Python)

Location: Teparuk, Thailand. On-site role; no travel required.

What you will do

• Support test development, hardware and software qualification, test execution, data collection, and basic analysis for engineering test platforms.
• Assist with writer, reader, and thermo-mechanical component characterization.
• Develop or improve simple Python or C tools for test automation, data processing, visualization, and reporting under engineering guidance.
• Follow test plans, check data quality and repeatability, and document qualification results.
• Help troubleshoot tester, hardware, software, and measurement issues with experienced engineers and laboratory specialists.
• Summarize findings and share progress through technical documentation, presentations, and team discussions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of electronics, electrical circuits, electromagnetics, physics, or measurement principles.
• Curiosity, self-motivation, eagerness to learn about engineering test platforms, component characterization, and magnetic recording technology.
• Ability to follow test procedures carefully, organize data, pay attention to detail, and ask questions when clarification is needed.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, including willingness to investigate unexpected test results.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams.
• Positive attitude, dependable work habits, and willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks with appropriate guidance.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Basic Python programming skills for test automation, data processing, analysis, and visualization.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, digital multimeters, and signal generators.
• Data analysis skills with foundational statistical knowledge, including descriptive statistics, data visualization, trend analysis, and interpretation of test results.
