Associate Financial Advisor

Location: Palmerston, Ontario, Canada; full-time on-site work required. Flexibility to work across multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance, including evenings and weekends, is required.

What you will do

• Meet with personal and small business clients to understand their priorities and recommend personalized financial solutions.
• Provide financial planning across investment, credit, lending, and retail banking needs.
• Manage a mortgage client portfolio and deepen client relationships.
• Build networks through client outreach, community events, and banking centre activities.
• Identify growth opportunities and refer clients to Imperial Service and Business Banking partners.
• Help clients use mobile banking applications and other banking technology.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.
• Current accreditation and good standing in a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
• Eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• Strong client engagement, relationship-building, critical-thinking, and business-development skills.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified location in Canada; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• Flexibility to work banking centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and at nearby banking centres.

• Current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice).
