Inventory Control Specialist

What you will do

• Manage and execute cycle count programs for finished goods and raw materials, including daily inventory counts and accurate inventory reporting.
• Maintain accurate product identification, lot tracking, storage locations, and quantity records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through system analysis, physical audits, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Verify, count, and weigh materials; convert units of measure; and report variances, shortages, overages, and damaged products.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production Planning, Finance, and Operations to support optimal inventory levels and accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for inventory control processes, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or inventory management environment.
• Hands-on experience with inventory control, cycle counting, inventory accuracy programs, and discrepancy resolution.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Purchasing, Production Planning, Finance, Operations, and other departments.

Nice to have

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• APICS/ASCM certification in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
