Product Owner (B2B SaaS)

What you will do

• Own the Build & Deliver phases of the product development lifecycle after initiatives are validated and approved.
• Translate agile PRDs into granular epics, features, stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and reproduction steps.
• Maintain Jira data quality and a groomed backlog with multiple sprints of ready work.
• Run refinement, backlog grooming, and daily stand-up ceremonies while partnering with global development teams.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies, prioritize work, triage bugs, and make tradeoffs under capacity constraints.
• Coordinate phased releases, prepare release documentation, and ensure analytics tagging is included in new development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar delivery-focused role in an agile software environment.
• Strong ability to translate requirements into well-formed epics, features, and stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Expert Jira discipline, backlog hygiene, independent decomposition, prioritization, and severity-based bug triage.
• Experience independently running requirements reviews, refinement, grooming, and stand-up meetings with development teams.
• Knowledge of scrum practices, Definition of Ready, Definition of Done, release mechanics, feature toggles, and phased or hidden releases.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, proactive status reporting, willingness to use or learn AI, and willingness to travel approximately 15%.

Nice to have

• Experience building B2B SaaS products.
• Retail experience in loss prevention, asset protection, returns, point of sale, or related areas.
• Experience establishing or maturing formal sprint-planning practices.
• Technical curiosity and a track record of expanding technical knowledge.
