Senior Product Owner (Workforce Management)

Location: Germany, with hybrid options and remote work within the EU

What you will do

• Translate customer, market, and business insights into problem statements, user needs, and backlog priorities.
• Own and continuously prioritize the product backlog, defining epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements.
• Drive backlog refinement, story decomposition, sprint readiness, dependency management, and day-to-day product decisions.
• Align Engineering, Architecture, UX, QA, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Support around priorities, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
• Monitor product performance, adoption, customer feedback, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to Workforce Management innovation involving AI, LLMs, and agent-based technologies, as well as pricing and monetization discussions.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner in an agile B2B SaaS environment, ideally in Workforce Management, HR Tech, or enterprise software.
• Strong technical foundation and experience collaborating with Engineering and Architecture teams.
• Proven ability to translate product strategy into prioritized backlogs and successful product delivery.
• Strong understanding of agile product development, backlog management, and requirements engineering.
• Business-fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI technologies, including LLMs and agent-based solutions.
• Experience with Jira or comparable product management tools.
