Business Development Project Manager (Semiconductors)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States; relocation eligible; travel required up to 20% of the time

Salary: $180,500–$248,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead complex new technology development programs from concept through commercialization.
• Manage program budgets, schedules, resource allocation, and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, external organizations, suppliers, and development partners.
• Collaborate with technical and legal teams on intellectual property disclosures and patent applications.
• Draft, negotiate, and execute Joint Development Agreements and other strategic partnership contracts.
• Prepare executive-level program reviews, updates, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of engineering program management experience.
• Experience leading complex projects and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Strong program management skills with the ability to connect tactical activities with strategic objectives.

Nice to have

• Japanese language proficiency and familiarity with Japanese business culture.
