Senior Business Analyst (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Gather and document stakeholder requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions, configurations, system designs, and reporting requirements.
• Analyze current processes, user behavior, system issues, and solution gaps to improve Salesforce user experience, automation, workflows, and data integrity.
• Translate business requirements into user stories within an Agile framework and collaborate with Product Owners, developers, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Create as-is and to-be process maps, recommend improvements, and promote the use of Salesforce standard functionality over unnecessary custom solutions.
• Track system issues, recommend resolutions, and support timely delivery and testing of enhancements.
• Improve data quality, reporting, system performance, and operational efficiency to support university partners and student outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, or technical support.
• Hands-on experience translating business needs into Salesforce solutions and supporting Salesforce enhancements.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements, writing user stories, and working in Agile environments with development and QA teams.
• Strong problem-solving, process analysis, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Administrator certification or experience with Salesforce configuration, reporting, and data management.
• Experience in higher education, edtech, or student success environments.
• Experience supporting business transformation, process evolution, user adoption, and AI-enabled efficiency improvements.
• 1–2 years of experience specifically in a Senior Business Analyst role.
