Head of Accounts Payable

Location: New York, NY, United States. Relocation assistance may be available, including travel and company-provided housing for the first 90 days.

Annual fixed salary: $155,000–$190,000, plus equity, bonus, and benefits. Target total compensation: $186,000–$228,000.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end accounts payable and travel-and-expense operations across all entities and business units.
• Manage the Ramp platform, including corporate cards, bill pay, procurement, approval hierarchies, and T&E workflows.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed A/P and T&E team.
• Accelerate procure-to-pay processes covering vendor onboarding, purchase orders, invoice processing, and payment execution.
• Design and maintain payment controls, segregation of duties, approval processes, fraud prevention, and vendor master governance.
• Drive automation in Ramp and NetSuite while partnering with treasury and external auditors.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive accounts payable or procure-to-pay experience, including leadership of multi-entity functions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Deep expertise with Ramp and NetSuite.
• Experience building payment controls, segregation of duties, vendor risk practices, and 1099 compliance.
• Demonstrated success improving procure-to-pay cycle times while maintaining accuracy and control.
• Experience leading distributed teams with a hands-on, player-coach approach and partnering with non-finance stakeholders.
