Salary: $146,000–$255,000 per year, plus equity and bonus eligibility

What you will do
- Advise the Strategic Partnerships team and support negotiations for complex and novel agreements.
- Manage the review and drafting of commercial and technology transaction agreements.
- Provide product, commercial, legal, risk, and compliance advice to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with local counsel across global jurisdictions to develop legally and regulatorily sound paths to market.
- Liaise with senior stakeholders across the Airwallex group and manage external regulatory counsel and consultants.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a lawyer at a top firm, in-house, or through a combination of both.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, drafting, and multitasking skills.
- Experience advising product teams and supporting commercial documents and terms.
- Ability to master new areas of law quickly and operate with professionalism, integrity, ownership, and sound judgment.
- Based in New York City, United States.
Nice to have
- In-house legal experience in fintech or financial institutions.
- Expertise in payments, card networks, or fintech.
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple global regions.
