Salary: Annual base pay of $275,000 USD.

What you will do

• Support origination and lead execution of M&A advisory transactions for the Power & Utilities coverage group, with a focus on Renewables.
• Manage day-to-day deal processes, milestones, timelines, and transaction execution matters.
• Oversee the development and quality control of financial models and client materials.
• Act as the primary client contact for deal execution and develop new business opportunities with senior bankers.
• Mentor and guide Analysts and Associates.
• Travel as requested by senior deal team members or clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of corporate finance experience as an M&A Banker or Coverage Banker in the Power & Utilities — Renewables sector.
• Investment banking coverage experience in the Energy sector at a bulge bracket or leading boutique advisory firm.
• Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Proven investment banking transaction execution experience, including sell-side and buy-side M&A processes.
• Advanced technical and strategic advisory capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while synthesizing large amounts of information and developing innovative solutions.
• Ability to manage projects independently and assume a high level of responsibility.
• Ability to assess and mitigate reputational, operational, and credit risk.
• Required certifications: SIE, Series 79, and Series 63.
