Maintenance Technician (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Toledo, Ohio, US; onsite maintenance role at a manufacturing facility.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment using schematics, safe work techniques, and measurement devices.
• Perform electrical tasks, electronic component replacement, machine assembly, repairs, rebuilds, installations, setups, and changeovers.
• Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs and recommend improvements to maintenance systems and tasks.
• Maintain and repair building assets, facility equipment, property structures, and grounds.
• Use the eMaint CMMS system, update drawings and prints, and manage spare parts and replacements.
• Follow EPA, Hazmat, OSHA, equipment-operation, and other applicable safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience preferred, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic-arm, welding, fabrication, and machine-troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of electrical systems including 480V three-phase, 120V, DC voltage, high-amp loads, and Delta and Y systems; ability to troubleshoot circuits up to 110 volts.
• Familiarity with complex machinery, plant operating equipment, industrial codes, repair techniques, and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, complete assignments, communicate effectively, and lift and carry up to 60 pounds.

Nice to have

• Technical degree or Journeyman Card.
• Automotive manufacturing maintenance experience.
