Location: USA - Vermont - Essex Junction; on-site fab floor work
Salary: $20.00–$40.00 per hour

What you will do
- Resolve equipment and process issues on the fab floor and support long-term equipment performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, cost reduction, and yield learning.
- Define and maintain equipment installation, process qualification, and ramp-up roadmaps.
- Support equipment planning, selection, configuration, installation, start-up, and volume ramp activities with process engineers.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to optimize equipment performance, yield, reliability, process stability, and cost of ownership.
- Collaborate with integration and process engineering teams on next-generation technology development and technology transfer to other fabrication sites.
Requirements
- Be a junior at the time of application and actively pursue a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field during the internship.
- Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and good academic standing.
- English fluency required for written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and the ability to lead hands-on troubleshooting and understand complex systems.
- Be able to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
- Be available for up to 10% travel and follow all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements.

- Prior related internship or co-op experience.
- Project management, planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, Statistical Process Control, and Design of Experiments.
- Experience working effectively with diverse teams, customers, and internal and external partners.
