Financial Advisor - CIRO - MFDA/AMF

Location: Calgary-Chinook Station, Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The role requires working in banking centres, including multiple centres within a reasonable travel distance, with hours that may include evenings and weekends.

What you will do

• Build and grow a dedicated client portfolio through relationship management and exceptional client service.
• Provide tailored advice across day-to-day banking, investments, lending, and estate planning.
• Develop local-market sales plans, convert leads, and create new client relationships.
• Use credit and investment solutions to deliver needs-based recommendations, referrals, and business results.
• Participate in community events, marketing, and outreach activities to strengthen local connections.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience providing financial advice, establishing client relationships, and achieving performance targets.
• Current accreditation and good standing in the Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Investments Funds Course, or Investment Funds in Canada Course, with eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• For Quebec-related licensing: current AMF accreditation and good standing, CIFC or CSC completion, and Registered Retirement Consultant certification.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location, with a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Strong client engagement, networking, business development, financial advising, and relationship-building skills.
• Flexibility to work banking-centre hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel between nearby banking centres.
