Occupational Health Nurse - 2nd Shift (Occupational Health): Providing on-site occupational nursing care in a heavy manufacturing environment with an accent on employee health monitoring, injury prevention, clinical protocols, and workplace safety. Focus on assessing and treating employees, conducting ergonomic assessments and hazard analyses, supporting wellness programs, and developing recommendations from occupational injury and illness trends.

Location: On-site in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, with occasional shift swaps as needed

What you will do

  • Lead the site medical department and monitor employee health and well-being.
  • Develop, evaluate, and implement occupational-health clinical protocols and practice guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing care and referrals to reduce employee time away from work.
  • Support ergonomic assessments, job hazard analyses, first-responder training, wellness, and health-promotion initiatives.
  • Analyze occupational injury and illness trends and recommend prevention and control measures with the EHS team.
  • Coordinate with site stakeholders to support health, safety, and operational objectives.

Requirements

  • Active North Carolina or compact-state Registered Nurse license required.
  • 5+ years of Occupational Health or Acute Care nursing experience preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain required certifications within the first year.
  • Manufacturing experience with an hourly workforce is preferred; knowledge of OSHA, ADA, EHS, and ERT practices is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to assess and treat employees according to clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and appropriate levels of care.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
