Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Location: Mississauga, Canada; hybrid work with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week

Salary: CAD 110,000–135,000 per year, based on experience

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules for Azure infrastructure.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code pipelines for automated deployment, updates, and decommissioning.
• Develop and optimize GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows for infrastructure and application delivery.
• Automate operational tasks, security checks, compliance reporting, and code quality processes.
• Administer GitHub organizations, projects, repositories, access controls, and workflow automation.
• Support development and QA teams with secure release pipelines, monitoring, maintenance, documentation, and DevSecOps mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, plus 6+ years of software development or DevOps experience.
• 4+ years of practical experience in automation, build, and delivery operations.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, ARM templates, Azure DevOps pipelines, networking, firewalls, ExpressRoute, IPSec tunnels, Virtual WAN, and WAF.
• Experience managing GitHub organizations and projects, including repository management, configuration, and access control.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows, Docker, Kubernetes, networking, security, Git, Python, Bash, PowerShell, and shell scripting.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Reliability Clearance (PERC).

Nice to have

• Experience automating releases for InRule Rules Engine, Microsoft CRM Dynamics, or Microsoft Power BI.
• Knowledge of Federal Government NIST compliance.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
