Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Location: Mississauga, Canada; hybrid work with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week

Compensation: $110,000–$135,000 CAD per year, based on experience

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable Terraform modules for provisioning and configuring Azure cloud resources.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code pipelines for automated deployment, updates, and decommissioning.
• Develop and optimize GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Automate operational tasks, security checks, compliance reporting, and code quality checks.
• Administer GitHub organizations and projects, including teams, repositories, access controls, and workflow troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams, monitor environment health, support releases, document processes, and mentor colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with 6+ years of experience in software development, DevOps frameworks, and methodologies.
• At least 4 years of practical experience in automation build and delivery operations.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure ARM templates, Azure DevOps pipelines, and Azure networking and security components including ExpressRoute, IPSec tunnels, Virtual WAN, firewalls, and WAF.
• Experience managing GitHub organizations and projects, supporting Windows and Linux environments, and working with Docker, Kubernetes, networking, DNS, load balancing, SSL, and TCP/IP.
• Advanced scripting experience with PowerShell, Batch, Shell, Python, or Bash, plus experience supporting production releases and environments.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Reliability Clearance (PERC) throughout employment.

Nice to have

• Experience automating build and release changes for InRule Rules Engine, Microsoft CRM Dynamics, and Microsoft Power BI.
• Knowledge of Federal Government NIST compliance.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
