Product Owner - ServiceNow

Location: Omaha, Nebraska, United States; hybrid schedule with 50% of the time in the corporate headquarters office

What you will do

• Define product team goals, execution plans, requirements, and user needs with business and technical stakeholders.
• Create, refine, prioritize, and sequence user stories and the product backlog.
• Plan releases and sprints, set delivery expectations, and maintain planning and progress-tracking tools.
• Provide leadership and direction to software delivery teams while partnering with Scrum Masters and Technical Leads.
• Lead or support Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, story reviews, sprint planning, demos, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with program and portfolio managers, sponsors, internal stakeholders, BA/QA professionals, and technology teams.

Requirements

• Five or more years of related professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and software development practices.
• Experience with application lifecycle management tools such as DevOps, JIRA, or Rally.
• Experience using and administering the ServiceNow platform.
• Professional experience as a Business Analyst, Business Team Manager, Project Manager, or Scrum Master.

Nice to have

• ITIL certification or formal ITIL experience.
• Experience implementing ServiceNow or additional ServiceNow modules.
• Familiarity with continuous delivery and continuous integration.
• Insurance industry and product knowledge.
