CNC Operator

Location: NY - Buffalo

Compensation: $22.00–$26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Set up and operate CNC woodworking machinery according to departmental procedures.
• Read blueprints, sketches, and technical documents to determine tooling, machine settings, and machining sequences.
• Translate production instructions into computer commands and load raw materials and parts.
• Run test cycles, supervise machining operations, and make adjustments to improve results.
• Inspect and measure finished products to verify quality and maintain machinery and tools.
• Follow shop-floor controls and safety procedures while supporting departmental safety.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a CNC operator.
• Experience operating CNC machinery, tooling, and precision measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents, drawings, and blueprints.
• Mechanical aptitude, strong mathematics skills, and basic computer programming and CAD/CAM knowledge.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in manufacturing noise, dust, and heat while wearing required PPE.
• Availability for multiple shifts, flexible hours, overtime, and weekends as required.

Nice to have

• Woodworking industry experience.
• Associate degree.
