Vice President of People (AI)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 annually, plus target bonus and equity participation.

hirify.global is supporting a profitable, high-growth industry leader seeking its first senior People executive.

What you will do

• Partner directly with the CEO, board, executive leadership team, and business unit leaders.
• Personally source and close high-quality talent, including VP-level hires.
• Assess team capability, identify strengths and risks, and execute plans to increase talent density and performance.
• Develop the compensation philosophy, including leveling, salary bands, merit cycles, and incentives.
• Lead organizational design, succession planning, leadership development, and performance discipline.

Requirements

• AI-first mindset with hands-on experience using AI to increase leverage and the judgment to verify its output.
• Approximately five years of People leadership experience, including senior People leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading People in a growth-stage, private-equity-backed company with approximately 75–400 employees.
• Proven recruiting experience, including personally sourcing and closing VP-level talent.
• Experience addressing underperformance, making development and hiring decisions, and partnering with business leaders to improve results.
• Strong compensation and financial expertise, including P&L analysis, fully loaded headcount-cost modeling, workforce planning, executive communication, and board-level presentations.
