Sr. Autonomous Manufacturing Systems Engineer (AI/ML Ops)

Base pay for California applicants: $197,529.00–$276,539.55 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and implement strategies for deploying machine learning models into manufacturing automation products.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for data processing, model training, and large-scale inference.
• Automate end-to-end machine learning pipelines from data collection and preprocessing through deployment and monitoring.
• Set up production monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and model optimization.
• Evaluate and integrate tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, and TensorFlow Extended.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, and automation teams to incorporate AI/ML into manufacturing systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience, including real-world machine learning deployments using vision and/or time-series data.
• Extensive experience with AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies.
• Experience with manufacturing automation, robotics, PLCs, automated NDT, or machine vision.
• Experience with AI edge deployments, OT device integration, serverless computing, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.

• Experience with agile and scrum software development environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
