Business Development Manager (Insurance)

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States; hybrid eligible. Travel to assigned agencies or virtual agency visits required at least 50% of the time.

Salary: $95,000–$115,000 annually for the Manager position, based on the primary posting location of Denver, Colorado.

What you will do

• Represent the agency in marketing activities and visit assigned agency partners in person or virtually.
• Provide agents with product information and guidance on transacting Auto and Property & Casualty insurance business.
• Prepare for agency visits by running reports and analyzing production against goals and expectations.
• Maintain product knowledge and train agents to encourage submissions and binds.
• Identify, contact, and visit prospective agencies to assess their viability as appointed agents.
• Resolve agent and customer inquiries using sound problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• P&C license required.
• Five or more years of work experience.
• Strong judgment, decision-making, independent working, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
