Senior Technical Program Manager, Security & Infrastructure

Location: Hybrid work near Denver or Colorado Springs, with some work required onsite. The position is also listed for Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.

Base salary: $140,000–$210,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end program management for GOVSEC/INDSEC initiatives from intake through delivery using Jira and Confluence.
• Drive schedules and delivery for ATO/RMF efforts, tracking SSP, POA&M, and SAR artifact production while surfacing blockers.
• Coordinate security engineering, GRC, IT, and program or mission teams to unblock compliance-gating work.
• Bring cadence, tracking, and accountability to OPSEC, PERSEC, and COMSEC programs.
• Report status, risks, milestones, capacity, and roadmap trade-offs to engineering teams and executive or customer stakeholders.
• Manage portfolio capacity and drive explicit leadership decisions when planned and operational demands conflict.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical program or project management experience, including substantial work in federal, defense, or regulated environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in intake and prioritization, dependency and critical-path management, schedule and risk management, and closing concurrent programs.
• Technical judgment in federal authorization and security engineering sufficient to assess blockers and challenge estimates.
• Experience delivering through teams without direct reporting authority and operating in a matrixed structure.
• Fluency with Jira and Confluence for program tracking and documentation.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with DoD Impact Levels IL4/IL5 or IL6, DISA STIGs, and FedRAMP Moderate or higher.
• Exposure to NISPOM/INDSEC, DCSA processes, and OPSEC, PERSEC, or COMSEC in a cleared environment.
• Experience completing ATO or equivalent federal authorization efforts.
• Background in space systems, aerospace, or defense hardware and software delivery.
• Experience establishing or maturing PMO processes.
