Payroll Analyst (Manufacturing)

Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States. Travel of up to 25% to company locations is required.

What you will do

• Lead accurate, timely, and compliant full-cycle payroll processing for hourly, salaried, piece-rate, temporary, bonus, commission, and off-cycle payments.
• Validate timekeeping and payroll data, investigate discrepancies, and process complex pay structures, adjustments, deductions, taxes, and garnishments.
• Manage payroll tax filings, deposits, statutory reporting, quarter-end and year-end activities, including W-2s.
• Conduct payroll audits, variance analyses, reconciliations, general ledger reviews, and reporting in partnership with Finance and Accounting.
• Administer and improve payroll systems and integrations, supporting implementations, migrations, upgrades, testing, and organizational changes.
• Resolve employee and manager payroll inquiries while coordinating with HR, Finance, Accounting, HRIS, vendors, and external agencies.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3–5 years of progressive, full-cycle payroll experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, reporting, FLSA wage and hour laws, garnishments, deductions, and compliance.
• Experience with payroll reporting, audits, reconciliations, variance analysis, general ledger activities, tax reporting, W-2s, and year-end processing.
• Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with payroll or HRIS systems, implementations, integrations, or migrations.

Nice to have

• Multi-state or global payroll experience.
• CPP or related payroll, HRIS, accounting, or compliance certification.
• Piece-rate payroll experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Paylocity or similar platforms and temporary or contingent workforces.
• Bilingual language skills.
