Reconciliation Analyst (Fintech)

What you will do

• Compare investment portfolio data from external sources with data in the reconciliation system.
• Review and update reporting data while meeting daily deadlines.
• Investigate reconciliation issues, apply financial concepts to errors, and resolve problems with support from mentors and subject-matter experts.
• Build and maintain relationships with data providers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Submit inquiries and provide timely updates on relevant issues.
• Develop competency with internal tools and identify opportunities for product innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, mathematics, sciences, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of investment, financial, and accounting concepts.
• Basic understanding of standard security types.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Experience in securities, financial markets, finance, or accounting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, and VBA.
