TL;DR
Accounting Manager (GAAP/ERP): Leading month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, general ledger integrity, intercompany accounting, and cash forecasting for multiple entities with an accent on GAAP compliance, consolidations, and management reporting. Focus on supervising accounting staff, strengthening internal controls, supporting audits, and improving accounting processes through automation.
Location: Remote, based in Latin America

What you will do
- Own month-end and year-end close processes for assigned entities and ensure timely, accurate, GAAP-compliant reporting.
- Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, close entries, financial results, and general ledger integrity across multiple legal entities.
- Lead intercompany accounting, reconciliations, settlements, eliminations, and issue resolution across global entities.
- Prepare variance analysis and short- and long-term cash forecasts in partnership with FP&A and finance teams.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop an accounting team with at least two direct reports.
- Maintain internal controls, support audits and statutory reporting, and lead process improvement and automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or equivalent is preferred.
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years managing an accounting team.
- Experience with consolidations, intercompany eliminations, account reconciliations, and thorough general ledger analysis.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB, and SEC accounting and disclosure requirements.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables.
- Must be located in Latin America and have fluent English.
Nice to have
- Experience with large ERP and accounting platforms such as Maconomy, NetSuite, Intacct, SAP, or Oracle.
- CPA or equivalent qualification.
