Mechanical Estimator (Construction)

Location: Remote, available from Dallas, New York, Bridgeport, Ashburn, Austin, Boston, Charleston, or Coppell in the United States, or Calgary in Canada.

What you will do

• Develop estimate plans and coordinate estimate development with project teams.
• Support preparation of total project estimates.
• Prepare the Project Basis of Estimate and Estimate Risk Analysis.
• Recommend cost contingencies and solutions to problems of varying complexity.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for estimating work.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of progressively responsible estimating experience in a construction environment.
• Demonstrated experience with estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX.
• Degree or comparable experience in a construction-related discipline.
• RICS, CEP, or CPE chartered status, or progress toward completing one of these qualifications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a detail-oriented and quality-focused approach.
