DevSecOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

A product organization building a scalable infrastructure foundation that supports engineering teams and quality, in-person interactions.

What you will do

• Design and build major infrastructure components and platforms for a growing engineering organization.
• Lead Kubernetes and container orchestration strategy across production workloads.
• Design resilient, secure, multi-region AWS architectures and optimize performance, resource utilization, network traffic, and cloud costs.
• Implement SLOs, monitoring, observability, deployment automation, and safer CI/CD releases.
• Participate in on-call rotations, lead complex incident resolution, and conduct post-incident analysis.
• Mentor infrastructure engineers and collaborate with security and product engineering teams.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience with a record of designing scalable infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and Docker, including production container orchestration.
• Expertise in AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Ansible.
• Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and observability tools including Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, Go, or Ruby.
• Degree in computer science, engineering, systems administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with SRE practices, multi-regional infrastructure, legacy modernization, and disaster recovery.
• Experience using AI tools to automate infrastructure workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, service mesh technologies, network security, and compliance controls.
• Experience with Node.js performance optimization, application profiling, and additional cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure.
