Quality Director (LNG)

What you will do

• Lead the project Quality Management Program from execution through startup and handover.
• Develop quality strategies, procedures, performance objectives, and Inspection and Test Plans.
• Manage QA/QC personnel, inspection teams, and quality specialists across all project phases.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, supplier surveillance, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and turnover quality activities.
• Lead non-conformance management, corrective actions, root cause analyses, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Report quality performance to project leadership and collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, contractors, suppliers, and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, quality management, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent construction experience.
• At least 15 years of QA/QC experience in LNG, petrochemical, refinery, power generation, gas processing, or major industrial construction projects.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing large project quality organizations.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, API, ASTM, AWS, welding, NDE/NDT, fabrication quality, inspection and testing, supplier quality, mechanical completion, turnover, commissioning, and startup requirements.
• Experience managing quality programs for large EPC, EPCM, or owner-led projects and leading audits, investigations, corrective actions, and improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and project quality performance skills.

Nice to have

• Direct LNG project experience.
• CQE, CMQ/OE, Lead Auditor, or equivalent quality certification.
• Professional Engineer license.
• Experience with projects exceeding $1 billion in total installed cost, modular fabrication, international supply chains, commissioning readiness, owner organizations, and regulatory agencies.
