Salary: £24,700 base salary per year, plus a 5% target variable pay award and benefits

What you will do

• Provide telephone-based customer service to mortgage customers experiencing financial difficulty.
• Listen to customers, build relationships, and develop a detailed understanding of their individual circumstances.
• Diagnose financial challenges and tailor practical solutions to help customers return to financial health.
• Handle a range of banking queries and telephony-based customer service activities.
• Follow established processes, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Help customers remain in their homes by providing appropriate financial support.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of household budgeting, bills, and the financial pressures families may face.
• Ability to listen empathetically and engage productively with customers in difficult circumstances.
• Ability to perform varied telephone-based customer service activities while following regulatory requirements.
• Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to travel to the Barnwood, Gloucester office should be considered when applying.
