Director of Engineering

What you will do

• Manage and coach the platform engineering team, set expectations, and create development plans.
• Collaborate with the Central Team Leader of Engineering on team vision, hiring, and strategy.
• Align engineering objectives, sprints, and technical roadmaps with Digital Product initiatives.
• Partner with internal product teams to remove operational barriers and advance projects involving centralized engineering resources such as SRE.
• Lead operational standards for secure, scalable API integrations across hirify.global platforms.
• Manage technical debt, costs, and performance improvements while providing technical support for high-level projects.

Requirements

• Senior-level engineering skill set.
• 3–5 years of related work experience.
• Strong leadership skills with experience developing and guiding others.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions, solve problems, manage conflict, and execute strategic initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
