Senior Accountant Lead

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the Spanish entity.
• Prepare statutory and management financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Provide accounting expertise on complex matters, technical assessments, and new business initiatives.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, financial controls, and compliance with corporate policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide supporting documentation.
• Lead and mentor accounting team members while supporting finance transformation, process optimization, and system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 10–12 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, statutory accounting, internal controls, and audit management.
• Experience in a multinational environment and managing internal and external audits.
• Experience with Navision ERP, Excel, and Microsoft 365.
• Fluent Spanish and English required.

• Previous experience in a Big 4 audit practice.
• Experience in regulated industries.
