Team Lead Group Accounting

Location: Cologne, Germany; remote-first with the option to work remotely, hybrid, or fully on-site depending on proximity to a company location.

hirify.global is a growing technology company with an international Finance team and offices across Europe.

What you will do

• Prepare the consolidated financial statements of the hirify.global Group in accordance with IFRS.
• Develop and analyze monthly internal group reporting and reporting for banks.
• Shape accounting processes, optimize systems, and improve the area of responsibility.
• Provide functional and disciplinary leadership to two General Ledger Accountants.
• Act as a key contact for external auditors and internal stakeholders, including the tax department.

Requirements

• Degree in economics or business administration background with relevant additional qualifications.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and HGB.
• Experience with Lucanet or another consolidation system.
• Three to five years of professional experience in auditing or corporate accounting.
• Excellent English skills for communication with international colleagues.
• Strong analytical skills, commitment, responsibility, and an interest in developing the area of responsibility; initial leadership experience is preferred.
