What you will do

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, payroll, depreciation, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare GAAP- or IFRS-compliant P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports, including variance analysis and executive, board, and investor reporting.
• Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, audit documentation, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, liquidity, working capital, banking relationships, and treasury activities.
• Lead and develop the accounting team while improving workflows, ERP processes, automation, and scalable accounting procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of accounting or finance experience, including 2+ years in an accounting leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks Enterprise.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, with strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Availability to work U.S. business hours and be based in Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, or Costa Rica.

Nice to have

• CPA, ACCA, CMA, or MBA.
• Previous experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or Finance Manager.
• ERP implementations, financial system migrations, or process automation experience.
• Background in SaaS, professional services, real estate, or technology.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
