Growth Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; in-office work required

Salary: $180,000–$225,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Own the website as a product, including strategy, prioritization, roadmap, technical foundation, and international growth surfaces.
• Design and ship technical growth products such as personalized landing page builders, interactive voice demos, and AI-powered prospect experiences.
• Build internal tooling for paid digital marketing, including audience building, bid and budget adjustments, and reporting automation.
• Create agents that use Decagon’s AI stack, Salesforce, and marketing tools to surface intent signals for Sales.
• Establish testing infrastructure and a structured cadence for conversion rate optimization.
• Hire and mentor specialists in website execution, SEO/AEO, and related functions while partnering with growth, engineering, and regional sales teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with exposure to growth or marketing and a record of shipping technical products.
• Experience owning a company website or comparable technical growth surface as a product, including strategy, prioritization, and outcomes.
• Full-stack technical experience spanning CMS architecture, APIs, integrations, and AI-powered tooling.
• Experience building and launching growth-oriented products or tools.
• Technical judgment to evaluate and eventually manage SEO/AEO and website operations specialists.
• Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment that combines hands-on building with team formation.

Nice to have

• Experience launching websites or product experiences across multiple international markets or languages.
• Experience with AI/LLM-powered tooling for growth or marketing.
• Experience with Clay, Webflow, Gumloop, Dust, or similar tools.
